Calaréann Prime Minister meets with President Obama

The Calaréann Prime Minister Mr Nathan Rush and the Arcacian President Mr Daniel Raffaele met with the American President Mr Barrack Obama in the Australian capital Canberra whilst the President was in Australia on a 27 hour visit. Mr Rush and and Mr Raffaele were invited to attend the address by Mr Obama to the joint sitting of the Australian Parliament by Ms Julia Gillard, Australian Prime Minister. In what is seen as a great thawing of relations between Australia and Calaré. Mr Rush graciously accepted the invitation and said it was a pleasure and a privilege to attend a neighbours parliament on such an historic occasion. After President Obama's address to the Australian parliament the Prime Minister of Calaré and the President met with President Obama to discuss issues relating to both Calaré and Arcacia, such as the newly announced military deal to station 2500 American troops permanently in Darwin Australia. With the American President reassuring both leaders that the deal did not mean to cause concern to Calaré and Arcacia. Other issues discussed were a free trade deals and the newly formed AAPS - Association of Australasian and Pacific States economic partnership. Both leaders have said they valued the chance to meet with the President whilst he was in the region.
